Hemorrhoids disease causes more commonly in children and adults than in older adults. The prevalence of Hemorrhoids increases with age, with a peak in persons aged 45-65 years.

Hemorrhoids are actually enlarged veins in and around the rectum. External Hemorrhoids refers to Hemorrhoids that form out-side the anus area, usually in the type of a bulb-like bulge. They can be extremely painful, especially when accompanied by a blood clot, and it is called as thrombosis Hemorrhoids. External Hemorrhoids patient can suffer long as a week and, if left untreated, can continue for life longer.
